office 2003?

ok i took off office 2003 and put 2007
but everytime i open something like internet explorer a installer pops up trying to install office 2003 but then cant find the file how can i stop this from happening
i searched to make sure all the office 2003 files are deleted and they are
plzz someone help

Office 03 installer files may still be lingering



go to microsoft and download Installer cleaner

install it and open it up and see if you see office 03 in the list if you do click it and run the cleaner

I might be able to help, but a fair warning, I'm not familiar with the Office 2007 installation.

1. Are you sure the installation was complete (no errors/messages)?

2. Control Panel >> Software remove; re-install with the basic installation (not minimal), include the Internet Explorer installation; get IE and Office patches.

3. Try MSDN

Well a sure fire way to stop this would be a new installation of windows. With out knowing the actual cause of your problem( just a symptom) this the best i can do.

if u used an upgrade thats why because they want a valid licenence that you owned one and if u used a whole packange thenit should not be doing that

i think if u used an upgrade like somone already said. they want to know that u actually own it, again like somone said. but if u used it witht the whole thing, then idk wat is rong with it. how exatcly did u put office 2007 on ur computer. a cd or something else?
