Is there a way to burn ISO's without having administrator powers? I need to transfer an ISO on a computer, that's not mine, to a DVD. I can't do so because it won't let me, and, I tried to download something to do it, but I need administrator abilities. Any things that you know that can solve my problem?

I hope one of these methods will work:

1* You can always try to install a program in a folder you have access to (like My Documents) or you could use the portable version of PowerISO ;)

I found a portable version of PowerISO here: http://hacktolive.org/wiki/Portable_Applications_%28Windows%29

MediaFire downloadlink: http://www.mediafire.com/?wdyn1mamydr

2* You could try:

>Start > Run > cmd > OK

>net user * user pass

>log out and you should now be able to log in with username user and password pass ;)

>Note that you don't use an existing user for this, this will just create a new user with standard privileges and if i'm not wrong you can install programs with that user ;)

*3 When you're at the login screen just press CTRL+ALT+DLETE, 2 times. You should now get an alternative login screen ;)

Username: Administrator

Password: Administrator

if that password doesn't work try to just leave the password field blank ;)

*4 You can also try this program:

http://www.ntfs.com/iso_burner_free.htm

In SPTI mode it doesn't need administrator privileges, as I already said try to install it in My Documents or try to find a portable edition if just installing doesn't work.

*5 Or just try this:

ImgBurn is a free program for burning ISO's ;)

To get administrator rights in windows XP, do this:

*If Start > Run > cmd doesn't work:

>open notepad and paste this text:

at [time + 1 minute] /interactive taskmgr

>File > Save as... > Filename: Task.bat > Filetype: All (*.*) > Click Save

>Open the file you just in made (your file explorer) BEFORE the minute you added to the time passes :P (How to say this in correct english??)

>wait until Task Manager pops up

>Go to the Processes tab

>right click explorer.exe and click End Process (or is it Terminate, Stop, ....?)

>Go back to the first tab

>New Task

>explorer.exe > click OK

>It could happen that you'll have to wait for a few minutes

>click Start and you'll seee that you're logged in as SYSTEM/Administrator ;)

If Start > Run > cmd just works fine:

> Start > Run > cmd

>Type:

at [time + 1 minute] /interactive taskmgr

>wait until Task Manager pops up

>Go to the Processes tab

>right click explorer.exe and click End Process (or is it Terminate, Stop, ....?)

>Go back to the first tab

>New Task

>explorer.exe > click OK

>It could happen that you'll have to wait for a few minutes

>click Start and you'll seee that you're logged in as SYSTEM/Administrator ;)

use Gburner or magic ISO to burn ISO images or files

The best way is to download Gburner . Install the software and then right click on the .iso file and open with Gburner . The files in the iso image will be automatically added to Gburner. Then Burn it after selecting options like “ Bootable/Non Bootable”.etc.

Good LucK !
