Hi i have just installed Windows 7 and it seems to be working fine right of the bat. When i installed vista, i needed to install sound video and other drivers. I cant seem to find drivers on my laptops site for 7, and seeing as my computer seems to be working fine, do i need to downlaod drivers for windows 7.

Also, can u? Or does Windows 7 already come with all the drivers for all computers?

A new "W7 feature" is all 3rd-party device drivers are automatically installed, using Windows Updates. That's why your specific "lappy" Make and Model is working like a charm. Others may not be as lucky, so for them:

The onus is on the 3rd-party device driver Developers to submit their device drivers directly to Microsoft for this new methodology to work properly, and some haven't jumped on the band wagon, yet, and they've had more than enough time. My Canon LiDE20 Scanner is an example, the latest Device Driver from their website, did work, but it should NOT have been necessary to have to go and get it from them (a marketing ploy?).

TIP: In the 2nd case, others should try using the 3rd-party Developer's Vista device drivers, 1st, until the Developers get off their backsides.

Windows 8 actually installs all drivers needed though i agree with others, windows 8 has some compatability issues still with printer for example and other software, has no support if run into trouble and consider this main point, no uninstall, well the developer preview hadn't! So if decide go back to windows 7 you need to either re-install or be able to use and remove partitions etc. A word to the wiser too, copy your windows 7 license on paper as it will disappear and mcrosoft will not give it back for free:( Personally i think is garbage, too long winded, only any good appeared to me if you use a touch screen computer, and too memory hungry and all said and done, no improvement on 7 and the menu sytem is awful, took hours finding things which before took seconds:( Your choice but a pile of rubbish with too many issues!

if its working fine you don't need to install drivers for it windows 7 provides some drivers for some units I suggest check your video accelerator like NVDIA or ATI and download its software for enhancement feature but the rest it just fine

win 7 should of found all your drivers if not look under your drivers to see if they are installed or you can do a device search and install all of your drivers

No, win7 driver database covers majority of hardware and you need drivers in rare cases. However, in order to take maxium advantage of your hardware it is the best to download the most up-to-date drivers from manufacturers website.
