I am using windows 7 and xp. i want to force games run at my custom resolution.
Is there any software or regedit.

you can try open regedit and go to hkey current user. then you go to software and search for the games you want to change the resolution. you can see screen width and screen height and double click on it and choose decimal format to change the value according to your screen resolution. hope this helped.

dont mess with custom resolution, setting a custom resolution that your monitor is not designed for can damage it. Resolution is determined by the amount of pixels that are on the screen, you can only set it to the max/native resolution of the screen, in your case 1366x768, you cant set it higher because the screen cant go higher than that.

You may want to use DXWND. It makes your game into a window and I think you can customize the resolution.

Depends all in the game. But most games mostly adjust to your screen size.



Try seeing if the game has that option.

In most, but not all games, edit the config.ini file with a text editor.
