Im kinda sick of being editing videos with single-core, 3.48GHz cpu pc. So, i borrowed my brother's laptop, which is a 1.66GHz, dual-core. I installed the VideoPad Editor and hope i can get faster speed with multi-thread system.

but, i see VdeoPad Editor does not uses my cores, fully. I checked the Task Manager and it wont goes beyond 50% cpu usage.

But, seems a but faster when i only allowed it to use a single-core (by 'Set Affinity'), makes my pc even faster. and it shows almost 100% core usage (one-core only). then again, i allowed it to use all cores (again, by 'Set Affinity' in Task Manager) and only shows 50% usage.
Then, my single-core, 3.48GHz pc is even faster than dual-core, 1.66GHz pc (in this program)
Is this program even a multi-thread support?
Im still not even render yet, just editing the video tooks hours (applying 1 effect to 30min video).
The version of VideoPad editor is 2.41. Both pc uses the same version of the program.

Last pc,
Cpu:AMD Sempron 140 OCed to 3.48GHz (locked)
RAM: DDR2 1x2GB
GPU: Ati Radeon HD 4350

Current laptop:
Cpu: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.66GHz T5500
RAM: 2 x 512MB DDR2-667 (1GB)
GPU: Intel GMA 950

any tips to make the program uses all cores in the laptop? i want to finish this as soon as possible
(i dont have a forum account to the site so i just asking some advices at here instead)

No, this happens even in a Core i7 4770 with 4 cores and 8 threads. That program only uses ONE thread. Go with a better program,

You need to add memory, the disk drive (assuming not SSD) is your bottleneck, it isn't moving fast enough for the cores to be needed.
