Hi there... I have 5 Power PC iMac G3's at 700MHz that I have upgraded to 1GB Ram and a 120GB Hard Drive and I want to install a Linux OS. I have searched in google and youtube for Power PC based Linux OS and they seem to be impossible to find. I know that there must be some Power PC Linux out there. Is there any one that could give me a list of Power PC based Linux OS or some help where to find them? Thanks for your help...
Kevin

You forgot to point which Mac you have (you basically reported that it has a G3 processor, yet did not point out which pc). Your considerable question might have one answer, yet your information deliver issues off in yet another direction. You first say "deploy MAC OS X 10.4 .... with out CD or DVD". the answer for that's as properly to objective disc mode, connect via Firewire cable to a various Mac that already has OS 10.4 put in, and use Disk application to restoration the different Mac's not uncomplicated tension to yours. {right here fashions could be utilized as objective desktops: * iMac (Slot Loading) with Firmware version 2.4 or later * iMac (summer time 2000) and all fashions presented after July 2000 * eMac (all fashions) * Mac mini (all fashions) * capability Mac G4 (AGP photos) with ATA tension * capability Mac G4 dice * capability Mac G4 (Gigabit Ethernet) and all fashions presented after July 2000 * capability Mac G5 (all fashions) * iBook (FireWire) and all fashions presented after September 2000 * PowerBook G3 (FireWire) * PowerBook G4 (all fashions) * MacBook professional (all fashions) * MacBook fashions presented in the previous October 2008} on your information section, you're saying "i desire to apply the ten.4 application version on it". what's "it"? If "it" is your pc, properly, you get it on it via the two installation it or via restoring from yet another tension (the place OS 10.4 has already been put in) on your pc's tension. The deploy DVD has all the documents, yet not arranged. You set up them via making use of the deploy application whilst booted to the deploy disc. yet another pc working OS 10.4 has all the documents arranged. i'm beneficial you do not advise that "it" is the deploy disc. you employ the deploy DVD via booting to it and installation from it. that would not fulfill your preliminary requirement of ".... with out CD or DVD".
