Have this software! Natural Text to Speech Reader Standard 6 Download from http://www.download.com/Natural-Text-to-Speech-Reader-Standard/3000-2169_4-10470207.html The male voice is 100% clear and is Microsoft Sam!
Or have this! Speakonia Download from http://www.cfs-technologies.com/home/?id=1.4
Speakonia is a Text-To-Speech Program which is controlled through a graphical user interface (Similar to Notepad). Speakonia reads aloud any given text. The reading can be paused, resumed and can be exported to a wave file. Speakonia is able to fetch webpages through an internal http interface and read them aloud for you. You can have your mails read to you using the 'Clipboard Reading' feature. OK Buddy? :o)

There is no way to get the natural microsoft sam (XP sam) voice on vista. You are forced to install and use only speakonia sam. Even if you did find an installer for xp sam, you are still outof luck because i got an error message while trying to do that. But in control panel you will still only see Microsoft Anna. You must install a SAPI 4 compatible program to handle the windows 2000 version of sam (example, speakonia). Speakonia is no longer suppoted and the code they give out does not work but you can still use the unregistered version if you go to CNET or softpedia and install it there. However, you will not see sam right away. You will have to go to bytecool.com and click on voice guide and under microsoft TTS engines click mary, mike, sam and others. Hope this helps.

i'm not positive why Sam and Michael are lengthy gone from Vista. in spite of the undeniable fact that, to list (say, Anna's voice), pass to commence > classes > (do not remember precisely) Multimedia equipment? > list sound. Then, in the previous recording, change your recording gadget to "Stereo mix", or "Wave". i do not remember strategies to attempt this in Vista, although. i imagine that's someplace contained in the Audio config web page from the administration panel. only make positive the recording audio source is those said above, and not in any respect microphone, or aux.
