Windows vista lost key. Activation key fix cd?

I lost the vista cd and i am looking to reformat. I heard there was a cd that you insert after instaling vista that you insert and run and it makes the 30 day trial thing go away. What it this called and where can i get it?

You can call the microsoft customer service number, and they will give you a new cd-key. They will ask you to describe everything on the disc, so you need to have the original disc. Or you might need to mail in the disc and they will send you a new one with a new key.
