The first answer is correct, you don't need to install a full version of windows to use an exe file. There are emulators out there for that purpose.

Only if you have one of the new mac's with the Intel Processor. If you have one of the new Intel mac's go to apple.com and download BootCamp. It is a program that will let you install Windows XP on to your mac. Otherwise reading PC files on a mac does not work the systems are coded in two different languages.
