Can i upgrade from windows vista basic to windows 7 Home Premium bought on eBy Australia?

Yes it's possible, however there are 2 things should be aware of:

1. make sure your using a x64 or x86 OS. If your running Vista Baisc x86 then buy x86 Win7

2. A clean install is recommended, over an upgrade
