It's time to reformat my computer, its getting buggy. I have had some real-bad memories of forgetting to back up things. I believe I have all the things in mind to back up but was wondering if there were things I was forgetting. So I guess I'm really asking what are the most common things forgotten when backing up a PC? [Windows XP Sp2] Here is my list so far:

+fonts
+My Docs
-Which include installs of most the programs I "need", rest on install Cd's
-My Pictures
-My Music, including directions for DRM Music
-and other such documents
+Thunder-Bird Profile
+FireFox Profile
+List of extensions & themes for FF and TB
+Documents and Settings Folder for my user profile [only user] [c:]
+Extra Backup of Application Data folder for user profile
+Print out of DM profile and drivers
+Belarc Advisor Profile Print Out
+List of All software currently installed

Anything Else?

The most important backup (besides the ones you mention), the drivers for your Motherboard, Sound or other Hardware you don't have a recovery disk or OEM disk.

Also, may sure you have your Windows Product Key. That annoying 16 character code that assures MS that no one else can use their product without paying an arm and a leg to place the OS on each single computer.

you can back up daily used programs to be saved and installed anytime with an automatic hrad drive disk that will automatically copy everything each day at your designated time . this assures no loss of information and the issue of not having to do it per single program as you use

Docs, Pictures, Music, and any specific files is all you can do. Programs cannot and therefore I hope you have all your programs on CD for anything you want to reinstall.
