I have a table with 3 columns
I need to link words within each column with other words in other columns.
How do I create arrows between these words?

I can't think of any good way to do this. Have you considered putting hyperlinks between the words instead? Here's how:



1. Select the word to be referenced (the one that would be at the head of the arrow).

2. Click on (in Word XP (2002) and adjacent versions) the Insert->Bookmark menu item.

3. Enter a unique bookmark name and click the Add button.

4. Select the word doing the referencing (the one that would be at the end of the arrow).

5. Click on the Insert->Hyperlink menu item.

6. Click on the Place In This Document button on the left side of the dialog box.

7. Click on the bookmark you entered above.
