You can create PDF file without adobe acrobat, just a pdf converter is OK, write your file in Word format, when finish, add the file to pdf converter and convert to PDF file. You can find a free and good PDF converter from here http://www.advancedpdfconverter.com

Yes, you can create a pdf file for free.

If you are using microsoft office, you can enter all the contents in office word/excel/powerpoint and then save the office to pdf format. But different office version has different solution to save office to pdf.

If office 2007 and 2010 is used, there is a free add-in called Save as PDF/XPS can help to save office word to pdf. And you need to download the add-in from Microsoft for office 2007.

But the add-in doesn't support office 2003, so, you need to download another third party software to convert office 2003 to pdf. You can google 'free pdf creator' to find one.

The most easy way is to fill content in word and directly save as PDF format.

BTW: you need to use MS Word 2007 or above.

Or you could try other free online PDF converter service like Zamzar or desktop tool like Nemo PDF.

You need a PDF 'Printer'. Actually, that printer is just a virtual one that you install. Free one available here if you're interested:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/

Basically, you'll install the PDF Printer, then create, say, a word document, or whatever it is that you want in PDF format. Once your creation is complete, you want to print it. Only you print it to the PDF Printer you installed earlier. It doesn't actually 'print' anything, but will output your file into PDF format.

Hope that's what you were after.

Hope it makes sense aswell!

I'm using Smart PDF Creator. It is not free but it is very easy to use and it works fine for me so I decided to spend a few dollars.

You can create a PDF with a single click.

Create your document on a program such as microsoft word and then go to File > Save As Then when the box opens up go to the bottom to "Save As type" and Choose PDF file. That will do it for you and safer than any websites.
