Example: H e l l o h o w a r e y o u ?

I doesn't work when I go to edit, replace, and then replace all of the spaces with nothing. Is there any other way of doing? or is there any reason why it doesn't work? I copied the text from notepad because the document got corrupted or something, but i don't think that has anything to do with it, because I just copied and pasted it into microsoft word.

Find and Replace does work. Press CTRL + h

When the Find and Replace window opens, select the 'Find What' textbox and enter a 'space' character by pressing the space bar on your keyboard.

Leave the 'Replace with' textbox at its default.

Click 'Replace All'.

Which version of Word are you currently running?

Hmm, I actually just tested it out on my Word 2007. I used the same 'replace' steps, but just hitting a space for the Find What and hitting Replace All. Something you might be able to try as an alternative is to hit the space for the Find What, and for Replace With type a space and then delete it. Do note that you'll also have to go through and re-space between words as this will get rid of those also.

I dont have Word now but I remember the letterspace feature is located on a tab where other settings are such as hyphenation. Maybe in the format, paragraph or custom window? Sorry I cannot look at Word and tell you exactly. It also has functions that expand or tighten word spacing.
