I'm trying to take a diagram I made in Word and put it in Powerpoint but it is not letting me copy it. When I copy part of it, it only lets me copy the words and not the actual diagram. Help please!

You talk about chart but then diagram so what exactly is it? Not that it should matter that much because whatever it is if you highlight and copy you should then be able to paste without problem. I have done all sorts of copying and pasting to Powerpoint from other programs, photos, charts etc.
So if you advise exactly what type of diagram it is, i.e. shapes, organisation chart, text frames etc perhaps I can give you step by step instructions. Feel free to email me. Also what the version is you are using.

I tried it too and it didn't even give me an option. All I can think of is to redo the chart directly in PowerPoint.

Create a table to your records. then pick the table using the mouse. pass to insert and decide chart and then Pie chart. you are able to then suited-click the chart and adjust the settings.
