I have the product key but not the original CD. I read about slipstreaming and wanted to try it. Can anyone give me the files for Microsoft Office 2003 Home and Student or Professional edition or where can I get it for free? I have Office Professional edition 2003 product key but not the CD.

There a couple options:

1. You can contact Microsoft support in order to get a replacement DVD: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246

2. Another option is to test out the new Office 2010 Beta for free, as it has many new features since the 2003 version: http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/en/default.aspx

Hoping that Microsoft still supports this version and if you purchased it legally (thus the Product Key) you can probably call their toll free number and explain your situation, provide a proof of purchase and they can probably send you a replacement media. Otherwise, you may have more luck going to eBay and search for it there. By the way, there is a difference between retail and OEM versions so if you know which one you purchased, search for the correct version before purchasing it. Product key codes from retail will not work with OEM version and vice versa. Good luck and I hope this helps.

I would just use Open Office since it's free. It looks the same as 2003 but has more features and can save to and open all MS Office formats.
