in the beginning there were 2 standards (or more) for fonts!
now both windows and os x use true type fonts.... get the 'windows' ttf file...
download it and 'click' it!
install if you like it!

In PC (I am not a Mac user), here's what you have to do. First thing is surely download the font(s) to your destination folder. If the downloaded fonts are in zip format, unpack them. Next, you can install them either by:
1. Copying them to "Windows\fonts" folder (using Windows Explorer), or
2. Open "Fonts" folder through "Start>Control Panel>Fonts". In "Fonts", access "File>Install New Font ..." to open up "Add fonts" dialog box. In the dialog box, browse to find the folder containing the downloaded fonts. If there is any font, name of the font will appear in "list of fonts". Select fonts you want to install, and uncheck "copy fonts to Fonts folder" so your font file won't be duplicated—sort of a shortcut (Later you can uninstall them without losing the original font files). Click OK.
Keep in mind that the more fonts you installed, the more RAM is consumed. In relation to this, I prefer number 2 and you probably want to install fonts manager for this. Just use search engine to find font manager.
