Can I edit Word documents directly in Firefox tabs?

I'm trying to streamline my work day, and I like the idea of a serial workflow based on tabbed browsing in Firefox. But I'd like to be able to integrate my Word documents into this mix. Is there a plugin or extension that will allow me to open and edit Word docs directly in a Firefox tab?

I have looked for this also, and I have been unsuccessful. The only thing I can find is an extension that allows viewing Word documents, but not editing them.

It facilitates whilst you're all component to an intranet form equipment e.g. a school equipment or corporation equipment... so as which you would be able to placed a report right into a difficulty-loose folder so as that that is edited and saved with the aid of diverse human beings. different than that im uncertain ..
