I downloaded microsoft office home and business a year ago and i tried uninstalling it yesterday, however it wouldn't let me, saying that the 'uninstall did not complete successfully'. So today i tried downloading a new trial version, this time home and student, however it wouldn't work and kept saying it had expired.

I really wanna uninstall these trial versions because I've bought the full version and i don't wanna mess up the full version.

Do you think it would be okay for me to install the full version (microsoft office 2010 professional) over the trial version (that's kinda corrupt)? Also, does anyone have suggestions on how to uninstall the trial version? I tried it the control panel way and it didn't work. My laptop is Vista.

Thanks

It's annoying, but it won't mess up the full version if you can't uninstall the old trial versions.

Install your full version then delete it, it should take the traces of the corrupt file with it then re install. Then again it may install with no further problems. Try it
