Norton AntiVirus has an online backup service that it reminds me to use every time I start up my computer. I click "Do not remind me again" every time, yet it still tells me to do so! I've tried clicking the button about reading more to see if that would help, but nothing does. It's no big deal...just kind of a nuisance so I figure if it can be stopped, I might as well ask here to find out!
I have a good online backup service already that I'm happy with, so actually buying the software isn't an option now.

i individually use Norton online Backup and Drop field. some computers incorporate Norton online Backup Pre put in. Microsoft abode windows 7 Backup is ineffective, does not incredibly make a distinction.

To backup important files I am using Mozy.

Is an encrypted, setup-and-forget and off-site backup software, so I am protected not only against hardware failure, but also against fire, etc.

Do also versioning, keeping files for 30 days after deleted in your computer.

If you want to try, you can get 2.25 GB for free for life using this promo code:

https://mozy.com/?code=94HW8M

And then click in this sequence:

Products -> MozyHome -> 2 GB of 100% free backup space -> Try It Free

Then fill with your data.

The extra 0.25 GB you receive after run the Mozy backup for the first time.

Hope this help you!

The "Do not remind me again" works for the session you are on, but when you shut down and reboot it will repeat the message for your new session, at least it does on my computer.

Norton is just trying to justify the cost of their service.
