did a fresh install of xp pro on a dell cpxj.
installed the 100 plus updates from the microsoft website.
then in installed diskeeper version 9.
after that i installed xp service pack 3.
everything works great but i get a strange error when i start diskeeper.
error message says mmc has detected a error in a snap-in. it is recommened that you shut down and restart mmc.
i did that but no dice.
i uninstalled the xp service pack 3 and no error with diskeeper.
HOW DO I CORRECT THIS ERROR?
i need xp service pack 3 to be safe from hackers but it causes a error message with diskeeper.

Update your Diskeeper to the latest patch...you shouldn't have any problem afterward.

Another thing you can try is uninstall Diskeeper then install SP3...and reinstall Diskeeper, and update it.

Hope this help.

You should go to the Diskeeper site and see if they have any info there.

I'm running v10 with no issues after installing SP3.

Hope this helps.
