How do I disable the feature that remembers URLs in Internet Explorer? You know, when you type in "www.y" and www.yahoo.co.uk comes up underneath. How do I stop Intenet Explorer remembering URLs, website addresses and usernames?

Disable Autocomplete. Tools>Internet Options>Content. Click on "Autocomplete, " then make sure "Web addresses" is unchecked. No URLs will be remembered by your computer after you have done this.

What *have* you been looking at, I wonder...?

You can't disable it automatically within Windows (ie. without an external program), just empty it regularly from Tools...Internet Options and clearing the history list.
