I uploaded a photo onto my PC from phone camera, and whilst viewing it in Microsoft Picture Manager, I rotated it so it was the right way up. For some reason, Picture Manager doesn't like photos that have come from my phone, so it never allows me to save these kind of changes. I tried anyway, and as usual a pop up box came up saying 'now saving [file name]' however, you could see from the progress bar that it wasn't doing it at all. So, when I tried to close picture manager, i got a pop up saying "there are changes that haven't been saved" - and the option to (a) save (b) don't save or (c) cancel. I knew saving wouldn't work, so I clicked 'don't save' (thinking all i would lose was the pic being the right way up) but now the picture doesn't seem to be on my pc at all. I have checked recycle bin etc. Stupidly i deleted the image from my phone. Is there any way to get the file back?

You may try to recover the photo from your phone.

You'll need to connect your phone to a PC using a USB cable (or take the memory card out and plug it into a card reader on the PC). You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.

Then download asoftech photo recovery which provides a free demo with the ability to preview the files it finds left on the phone (or card).

the main suitable i will sugest is locate the sytem fix, i've got faith you already tried this nevertheless( press commence-administration panel- overall performance and maintanace) the pictures you cant open verify what format they're in eg. jpeg or bitmap, seek on line for a programe which will open that format.
