Sorry about that but when you reboot your system, you should take care of the screenshots and the addons by yourself as the content in deleted if you format your hard drive.

The content is in C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft

You have to install the game and drag and drop the files you have to the desired location not unzip it there, anyway you should look if you have admin privileges that way there is no reason for not being able to do it... so unzip the files and then just move them.

I tried that before but it cant be done the game must be install it again but the backup files such the addons file you can save it yourself..

Hope that helps:)

Anyone who has to re-install a machine regularly is obviously making a mess of the machine. Incorrect settings, careless browsing and other common mistakes. I support hundreds of machines, and have NEVER needed to re-install a system except when a drive fails. And they all run as well as when new. And some of those are 8 years old. The problem with permissions is that files and folders are controlled by security IDs, not by anyone's name, or the name of their location. If you deleted a user from a system, and then created a new user of the same name the security ID will be different as they are randomly generated for security reasons. So a file created by the first user would NOT give permissions to the new one. Worse, a new install of Windows will create a totally new set if IDs so none of the original files will be usable by users of the new system. If they previously had the everyone user allowed full access to them it MIGHT allow you to access them now, but otherwise you would need to select the folders concerned and take ownership, ensuring you select also the option to take on all sub folders and files. In some cases this will NOT happen as the original security settings may block the recursive changing of permissions. So your would need to find the level at which you still do not have ownership and then start from there again. Can take a long time.
