how do i control a pc with another (mac - pc's)?

hi.
i have three children at home using laptops which i have brought them. i would like to be able to view and see what they are doing and if they are doing something i don't like, for me to be able to stop it when i see it. so like i am on or using one of my kids laptops but actually i am downstairs on mine. they all connect to the home wifi which is mine, if this is any help. the only problem is that i have an apple macbook and so does one of my kids but the other two have windows xp and windows vista. is there a program i could use to do this task. thanks in advance for any feedback.

If you want to be able to take over one of these computers, then check out www.logmein.com which is a free download, and easy to install on a computer. After installation, you can access these computers from any internet connection, you would not need to be on the home network, your could check it from any browser window.



If you want something that would alert you to your child doing something, then look in to programs like NetNanny, which can keep your children from looking at websites, and allows you the option to be emailed if they do try to go there.

Yes there are tons of way to do this, but I don't thinking spying on them is the answer, they should be able to reserve their right to privacy. You might want to restrict their access to certain sites, the easy way to do this without installing a program being that you have a wireless network



Is to go into the router interface and restrict access to sites that you specify. (ban filters) go to a web browser and type http://192.168.2.1

or http://192.168.1.1 depending on the type of wireless router.
