15. didn't understand your qu.but CTRL+A select all the files in a folder or CTRL+left click to select individual files

this enables you to easily access a file/folder easily



18. it deletes all the files that you previously deleted from your hard disk, as deleted items are not instantly removed from yr hard disk, they 1st go to a special folder called recycle bin

Copy = Control+C (after the text has been selected)

Paste = Control+V



Select multiple files not in consecutive order: Click the first, then press and hold the control key while you click the rest.



If you delete a shortcut - you delete a shortcut - the program remains untouched. Just be sure you see the arrow on the icon and that you are in fact deleting the shortcut.



To right-click a shortcut: press the mouse key on the right side. It will bring up a submenu.



Empty the Recycle Bin: empties the bin - like throwing out the trash.



Search Companion? Which one? I use Start, Search to find a file when I have forgotten its name but remember a unique word or two of text.



What I learned from this tutorial - somebody needs to buy a book or two. May I suggest www.amazon.com. Look for the link to books, then look for used books. I have purchased many books here, saved a lot of money, and all books I have received so far have been in like-new condition.

16. The programme remains. Deleting a shortcut does not remove the programme.



17. Self explanatory. When you want to add a shortcut, highlight that option and then click.
