Witch is better Windows Vista or Windows 7?

I have a Apple MacBook and I also have Windows Vista as well. I use Boot Camp on my MacBook to run Windows Vista. Right now I don't have Windows installed on my MacBook. If I buy Windows 7, will it work on my MacBook via Boot Camp? I don't want to buy a update to go from Windows Vista to Windows 7. I want to be able to install only Windows 7 and not have to install Windows Vista and then update to Windows 7. How much would Windows 7 cost to buy?

We also have a Windows XP computer as well. If we clean everything off the hard drive. Can we then install Windows Vista or Windows 7 back on to the computer? If we can install either of the systems back on the computer will they run well?

Windows 7 is better, you can get a full OEM version for $100 or $170 depending on the version. I recommend at least a dual core system with 4GB RAM to run Vista or Windows 7.

Windows XP was and still is quite popular. Windows vista disappointed many people so many stuck with Vista. Windows 7 seems quite popular because it has fixed some of the issues that people had with Vista.

Hope I helped

definately go with 7, it is better than vista (although i thought vista's issues were a bit overblown). It is lighter on the system, operating much more like XP did than Vista. But still has all of vista's strong points like being very stable and generally working well no matter what you throw at it.
