Microsoft windows media player?

I've been trying to watch some movie trailers, but I only get the sound and not the video. The screen stays black. How do i fix this?

Install "VideoLAN"--it will play just about everything perfectly--and "klcodec310f.exe" and you will have no more problems. Media Player is a joke and should be discarded at the first possible instance that this is feasible.



Also a good option is MPlayer. Google the terms--that which is in '''-- and you will have no problem finding them.

You probably need a codec to see the video, try this download.

W.M. P. does not support every file extension. so you need to use Real Player or some flv or vlc player type.
