How can a Powerpoint slideshow automatically skip the last blank screen which is "end of slideshow, click to exit"
Can you skip it completely? Can it exit the slideshow without that screen? Can you auto forward it after a few seconds? something to get rid of it?

Yes, you can go from your last slide to exiting slideshow.

You don't say what version of PowerPoint you are running (if you ask anymore PowerPoint questions in the future, it would be helpful because they can be drastically different) so I'll give you both versions. It's the same thing, just different paths to get there.

XP/2003 - Tools pulldown menu --> Options --> View Tab --> unclick End With Black Slide

2007 - round Office button pulldown --> PowerPoint Options (box at bottom) --> Advanced --> Slide Show section --> unclick End With Black Slide
