What is Run-time Error?

i keep on getting run-time error and my laptop keeps turning off. The run-time error says hot key app. Could anyone tell me how to get rid of it ?

Disable the startup items and you should be good to go. Click start>run>in the run box type in msconfig>click ok>click startup> scroll down and look the startup related to the error message (Look for the dll file) and uncheck it, then click apply. If you are not able to find that entry, then click on general tab>selective startup> uncheck "Load startup items" and then click apply. Once you click apply you will get a prompt to restart the system, go ahead and restart the system. Once the system is up you will not get that dll or runtime error message, but you may get a system configuration utility window, just check the box in that window and click ok....also run a spyware scan...just to make sure........use software like malware bytes...spybot....update these software before running a scan

Easiest way (but not the most elegant) is to boot into safe mode and kill all of your startup items.
