Last night I got a really annoying spyware on my computer and I got it off by using SmitFraudFix, but now when I type in IE it will skip some keys some of the time.
Right now I'm typing slow to fix the errors but I'll give an example of how it looks when I don't type extreamly slow:

This s ho it loks whe i don' tye slowy. ally annoyng huh?
It is skipping key some of te imeas you can see.

The spyware was...Antivergear or something, pretty sure I got it completely off though..I also had trouble with programs randomly closing (AIM, FireFox, Limewire) but I think that has been fixed...

Any help would be great..

Oh, typing is fine in other programs (Notebook, FireFox, Word...) But even if I could just use FireFox all the time, other people in my house prefer IE and won't listen if I tell them not to use it.

So ya if ou can help I wll give you a coki and a dllar!

Some viruses are extremely annoying because they infect system files and so on. It is possible that files will be infected that cant be fixed by a virus scanner. Try using system restore, although this method isn;t very reliable. The best option is to reboot the pc, so its at windows default settings. But that would mean backing up your data to do so.

press windows button + r

type in msconfig

go to startup and uncheck all the items

restart

delete all the temporary internet files in IE

run adaware

run spybot

run an antivirus program

reinstall IE

restart in safe mode to see if the same problem still happens

run smitfraudfix in safe mode

these are all just suggestions, I don't know which one will work.

Just keep trying.
