Unable to convert mp4 - wma videos on jetAudio, error -996?

Question

I've recently been trying to convert some mp4 videos into wma using jetAudio, though for some reason on a few mp4 videos the converter will wait for about a minute until this message pops up:

"Error occurred during conversion: -996.
Please try again with another codec such as ffdshow. To download various codecs/codec packs, please visit http://www.free-codecs.com."

I downloaded one of the ffdshow codecs from the site, and I still have the same problems >:(

This only happens for a couple of my mp4 videos, an example is one that is a movie and around 600mb, though the other is 119mb, if that helps.
