I want to reverse the order of my pages while still in word. I know you can print in reverse, but I don't want to print the document. Its very long -- but page 345 should be page 1 and page 1 should be page 345. Not sure if there is a built in funtion I can use or will this need a macro? Thanks a million in advance...

There is no function in Word to number pages the way that you want. Since the function does not exist, macros will not help.

EDIT: You could do cut and paste to do what you want but it would take so much time that it is not worth your time. In the example you give it would take hours and you would have to do it all over again if you add or delete text.

If you are happy with your page layout, just copy and paste page 345 to 346, then 344 to 347 and so on; call it mirror pasting. Finally delete the original pages. You might want to record the steps as a Macro, use page up and down and control End Paste. If you get the process right you might get the effect you want. I am wondering why, it goes against so much automation that underlies word processing programming.

Open your document, my friend, then highlight everything on page 1. Cut it (press Ctrl+X) then find page 345 of your document and Paste it there (press Ctrl+V).

Now highlight everything on what used to by your page 345, Cut it, and Paste it at page 1.

Resave your document after checking that everything is still numbered as it should be.

As long as you don`t mind - in front of the number start your page numbering from -345
