Help with Tiscali SMTP settings for Outlook 2007?

Hi I am trying to get Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 to send emails via my tiscali account and it says "Your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to recieve this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP)." Also I have SMTP set to port 25 can someone tell me the details how fix this please!

i sympathise. i too am a tiscali customer having e-mail problems...... best of british in getting any help from their customers services. i filed my problem with them back in july, and i am still waiting for them to come up with a solution that works.



hope u manage to get it sorted out, i'll be checking back to see if u get any useful information so that i can use it too !

Are you sure your pop settings are set to:



Incoming Mail (pop3) : pop.tiscali.co.uk

Outgoing Mail (smtp) : smtp.tiscali.co.uk



?



If they are, it could well be a problem on Tiscali's side. I've had a few problem with them before.
