I understand the basics of using Excel's ROUND function, but this requires 2 cells; the original cell and the rounded cell. Is there a way to round a number in it's own cell? IE cell B5 is the result of dividing two other cells. How can I get B5 to be rounded up to a whole number?

Thanks!

Right click on the cell.

Choose "Format Cell".

In the first tab in the menu that appears, click "Number". On the right side of that menu, set the number of decimal places to "0".

Are you saying your formula is in B5? If so, you just use the ROUND function in B5. Maybe I'm missing something from your question, but it's honestly that simple. Let's say, for simple example, that your formula in B5 currently says =B1/B2. Then your formula to round it would be =ROUNDUP(B1/B2,0) or you could use =ROUND(B1/B2,0)
