For those who dont no, the 'Ultimate steal' is a legitimate site allowing people who go to a uni in the U.K. and who have a uni email address to but a digital download of microsoft ultimate package for the low price of £38.

I brought it but the product-key will not work. I got an email to conform ive paid for it complete with an order-number but when I try to email microsoft the order number i've got isn't working either and it won't accept the email.

Anyone know the phone numbers (uk) of who i can contact as I dont wish to pay £38 for a package I haven't even been able to dowload

You can't just email Microsoft. You need to go to this page and fill in the form:

Digital River is the company that handles the sale for Microsoft, that is if you bought from them. If you bought it from another site, then you may have been conned. What site did you purchase it from?

You were had, That was a croked site. You got robbed. You should have gone straight to Microsoft to get it. You can try calling the company you bought it from, if they can't get you what you paid for file a unauthorized charge with your bank.

I think I saw your site:

http://ultimatestealdeal.com

If that is it your were robbed, they are frauds.. There are no contact info to them at all. Get your money through your bank.

Did you order directly through Microsoft/their affiliate (www.Digitalriver.com). You may have been scammed if you ordered from anywhere else.

I would suggest, if you haven't been able to download it, to contact your credit card company to stop payment (You did pay by credit card, right?).

The full version will not not work either. I have run into a similar problem and tried that also. (Need to reinstall Vista on my laptop but don't have the original download file).
