Assuming you have an A column where you would enter a number if the item existed and you were adding something in column B+ column C you would but this in column D:
=IF(SUM(A2)>0,SUM(B2:C2),"")
In plain English, if nothing is listed in cell A2 then the calculation at D2 won't run. The empty quotes are why you get no indication of a number.

Many scientists, medical doctors and researchers have a god-like complicated. because of the fact they can't avert and treatment the illnesses we've already got and be stricken by, they experience the might desire to return up with innovating methods to make a acceptance for themselves. Cloning? isn't it God's interest to create existence? the place will this lead and the place will it end? Stem cellular analyze? Take an factor to a created man or woman and use it to assist out an ill human. the place might this lead and the place might it end? Genetic Engineering? Engineering is the word that throws me here. i'm against all 3 and no i would not partake in any of them whether i wanted a coronary heart. Embryonic stem cellular is repulsive to me and the day will come while they're going to pay women human beings to get pregnant because of the fact there are not adequate embryonic stem cells to bypass around. guy abuses each and everything!

Let's say your formula is a simple subtraction between cells.
=IF(A1-B1=0,"error", A1-B1)
Just substitute your own formula for mine, within the above IF clause.
