How can I get Windows Media Center back?

I believe I accidentally deleted my windows media center because its no where in my computer. I have Windows 7 and can't find it anywhere. I believe it happened by accident when I first started up windows media center and for some reason it was slowing my computer down a lot so I searched online how to fix it and I believe i like ended a process or something like that. Is there anyway I can reinstall it or is there a free alternative for windows media center? Any help would be appreciated

Type in to the start menu "turn windows features on or off"

Go to the media features and check the box next to media center



*edit* i knew this because i done it with windows games aswell

sorry but you have to wipe your computer (make sure you backup the files) and then reinstall windows 7
