I am looking for a good and reliable Software to make an Image of my HDD's, that is capable of recovering said image from some kind of boot cd / USB Stick / DVD.

I am getting sick of reinstalling my system every 6 month, installing same programs, drivers and other applications.

Need to make an Image of my HDD on DVDs which i can easily boot from and pop back onto my HDD so i dont have to spend 2 days installing everything.

Some kind of referance Link/URL would be nice.
Thanks in advance!

My recommendation is True Image because it is very stable and able to to backup to any location available.

Acronis True Image is a good program that will make an exact image of your computers hard drive. I have not had any problems with it and I have Win XP Pro. As with a lot of software for Vista machines, I'd wait until Service Pack 1 come out before buying stuff because there are still a lot of compatibility issues.

Norton Ghost sounds like it would do the job.
