What is happening is that instead of loading Ubuntu, it's loading the GRUB Terminal. You must of edited some system files on accident, but it's strange that it doesn't do this for Windows 7 too.

I am good with Ubuntu, but this is beyond my abilities to figure out. The most I can say it try these:

-Reinstall Ubuntu. It's not that hard. Though if you have some files that you need, I don't know how you are going to recover them.

-Ask the Ubuntu IRC channel. It's #ubuntu on irc.freenode.net. They are very helpful.
