You need a cd-burning program to do that. If you are going to use a computer, you will be able to open files and such and it won't have to autoplay. For use with computers, open the directory of the slideshow, then open the directory of the CD. Drag the slideshow file into the CD directory's window. At the left, click "write these files to CD".

you need a professional tool like Moyea PPT to DVD Burner to do this.
It's the very program to convert and burn PowerPoint to DVD and then play PowerPoint with TV set and DVD player.
the software is very powerful to retain all the effects in powerpoint and keep the structure as well as other functions like customize dvd menu, record narration, ect. it'll bring you a lot of fun.
you can get the tool at: http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/

Try to download Nero. and when you have it just press the button there named Create movie or something like that. I have created like that during my College days and I can't remember the exact button name. You will see it there, Just try to look.
