Is there any good software for organizing a movie/video file library?

I'm essentially looking for a program with an iTunes-like interface but for video files. The program must be able to organize mkv and avi files. I would also like to be able to add tags for the movies (e.g. genre, director, year of release) and add the movie posters as "album art."
I have already tried Jenius, Media Catalog, Universal File Organizer and XBMC and didn't like them.

Have you tried All My Movies?

For better MKV support I advise you to download MediaInfo.dll and place it to the program's folder. As far as I know, you can download this DLL from the official web site: http://www.bolidesoft.com/allmymovies/download.html
If you have many video files on your hard drive, use menu item "Tools-Scan drive for movies...". With this option you are able to locate only new movies then.
And the best function (at least for me) - you are able to start movie playback directly from the program.
A little hint how to save some money :) http://www.bolidesoft.com/allmymovies/offer.html

Personal Video Database. It allows many different import methods. I had over 500 movies in a file on a 1 TB hardrive. I just had it search that file. It imported all the movies. Renamed most properly, and asked for input on those it did not recognize. Also DLs data from imbd, cover art, etc. Give it a try. I tried about 10 other programs before this one. This is great if you dl a lot of bit torrent movies.

i discover that the only time i will incredibly hear the version is with a directly assessment. Like enjoying a music on your place stereo then the subsequent music on your computing gadget. yet then i will additionally tell whilst there's a intense era mp3. that is merely like dubbing tapes as a new child. the 1st reproduction sounds fantastically stable, yet then you dub that reproduction and then dub the 2nd etc at last it sounds fantastically vulnerable. I even have been waiting to word specifically situations a distinction on my computing gadget between the intense intense and espresso mp3 bitrates or despite. i'm incredibly a CD guy too and that i will in no way end figuring out to purchase discs; I incredibly have over 1500 titles on 3 cabinets in 2 rooms in my abode so at this element logical or no longer i'm committed. yet no count number in case you have an ipod or despite or merely burning information discs with a bands finished catalog on your vehicle the mp3 is handy as hell.
