I was just wondering what everyone thinks is the best software available (Doesn't have to be free) in each category:

1. Picture Editor
2. Movie Editor
3. PC Game
4. Anti Virus
5. Music Program (Like limewire not itunes)
6. Internet Browser
7. Torrent Client
8. Operating System
9. Media Player
10. Screen Recording Sofware

Make sure these things are all for PC not MAC

1. Photoshop elements (not as good as pro in some ways, almost the same though for like 800 dollars less)

2. Sony vegas or windows movie maker, or pinnacle.

3. Hard, halo or left 4 dead I guess...

5. Doesn't matter, superantispyware is good.

6. Utorrent is by far the best, it's safest and fastest. Just go to btjunkie.com for the crap you want. Whole cd's and also movies, games, software and more. All free. I personally hate limerwire.

7. Again, Utorrent.

8. Pc, it's what I find easiest.

9. Itunes or Windows Media Center.

10. Camstia, if it's the registered version. Get it and the cracker at btjunkie.com

1) I'm not qualified, but I suppose I'd say some variant of Photoshop.

2) Virtualdubmod

3) Kana:Imouto or Missile Command. Both are stellar.

4) Again, I'm not qualified, but maybe Kaspersky or NOD32. I've never really tested an antivirus to its limits

5) foobar2000

6) Lunascape

7) libtorrent and derivatives (rtorrent, in particular)

8) I'm not qualified. I'm not even going to pretend I know what the best operating system is.

9) Media Player Classic Homecinema (Windows) and mplayer (*nix). I use KMPlayer as a frontend for xine and mplayer.

10) I've only used Fraps and something called `Quick Screen Recorder`. I don't really do screen recording, so I don't have the experience to make a choice.

1. Photoshop

2. Final Cut Pro

3. Uhhh Crysis...wow.....Call of Duty 4

4. Kaspersky (People still use Norton???? I didnt know it still existed)

5. Uhhh i use rapidshare and filestube.com

6. FIREFOX 100%

7. uTorrent/ Transmission

8. Mac OS X or Linux.....no question....Windows is pure crap.

9. iTunes

10. Standard Mac Screen Capture

I noticed you want these for a PC. Well photoshop works on PC but there is no good movie editor for PC. Atleast nothing that comperes to final cut pro. Get rid of your PC. Its pure crap. Youll have more viruses using torrents and limewire than you can count.
