okay i've made a clipping path of an image in photoshop and i'm taking it into in design. the problem is there is a hole in the image that i want to get rid of, but it's not coming out. for example, say i'm talking about a donut and i want the middle out. i created a path along the outside and inside. why when i take this in to indesign is the inside not cut out?

Try making two separate paths, one for the inside and one for the outside, and then import them separately. I know it's a pain in the butt, but InDesign and Photoshop don't always integrate as well as they should with one another (especially when it comes to vector images).

Clipping path is used for Background Remove. and when anyone want to add new background must need to use Clipping Path. If the Image is hair or wool related in that prospect need to use Alpha Masking Otherwise Clipping Path must need to create upon the Edge of the product otherwise when anyone want to add on a new background it looks very bad and for looking professional must need to use shadow also.

Since you already have the clipping paths made, just elimitnate everything you dont want to show, save the file in .PSD format then place the .PSD file into your InDesign document.
