Question:
Print out a large PDF file into smaller "quadrants" to fit 4 on one page? using word 2003?

The PDF is pretty standard; intended for 8.5 x 11 page size. I've got a doc about 150 pages that i want to make a hard copy.

My initial idea was to decrease the font size and try to find a way to put three other boxes in there; but then i figured i would save alot of time if you could give me some tips. the main idea being getting this onto fewer pages; hopefully in quadrant form or something.
it doesn't have to be neat or fabulous; this is a working copy for me. btw; my printer doesn't do 2 sided. unless i feed the page in twice. so single side is fine.

Word 2003 cannot open or print a .pdf file.

If you have a 150-page Word .doc file, you can print it to fit 4 pages on 1 single-sided page by opening the Word file in Word 2003 and clicking on File | Print | Pages per sheet: 4 pages | OK.

If you have a 150-page .pdf file, you can print it to fit 4 pages on 1 single-sided page by opening the .pdf file in Adobe Reader 7 or later and clicking on File | Print | Page Scaling: Multiple pages per sheet | Pages per sheet: Custom...: 2 by 2 | OK.

Your printer driver might offer a "multiplex" or multiple-page-per-side ability without having to use Word at all.

I´m gonna take this joke shake the dust of it, wash and iron it, clean it up to enable it to hob nob with a few better jokes and then resubmit it every hour for the next year. That way I´ll get hundreds of stars just to stop it appearing. Tell you what I´ll give you a star to save me all that trouble. .....

Hey,in my opinoin, you could fistly convert the pdf file to the editable word file

I always convert PDF files to editable word format with PDF to Word Converter. From my long time experience of searching and testing, this tool preserves the original PDF layout, text content, bitmap images and hyperlinks in the generated Word document accurately. http://pdf-to-word.org

Have a try!
