When I was an Administrator of Linux Server i used that version RH 7.3 due to enhancement, memory mngt, library support they have bunch of flavor for linux.

RH 7.3 is already obsolete and RH has no support and updates on this old version. RH develope Fedora Core series form Core 1 to Core 4. If you are new or beginner to this OS well this is not right for you.

=============================================

You cant try other different DISTRO of Linux and downloadable for free.

1. SUSE - predecessor such as Novell Linux

2. Slack Ware - Vector Linux, Darkstar, Zenwalk Linux

3. Mandrake - Mandriva, Alt Linux etc.

4. Debian - Ubuntu, Linspire(Lindows), Knoppix, Bayanihan

Linux4(our philippine version), Demudi, Rexart etc.

5. Corel - Xandros Linux

6. REDHAT - Fedora Core, CentOS(supports Scalix, VOIP, Server star), Aurox, Asianux, Redflag China version.

If you still insist to used that version you can ask for help using their HOWTOS on the web..

Hope this will help you.

Red Hat Linux 7.3 is no longer supported by Red Hat.

You may be much better off looking into a newer distribution of Fedora. Fedora is the successor to the Red Hat Linux project.

Hi. I suggest you post your question at the following links.

Also, if you are new to LINUX, try UBUNTU first. It's easy to install and use. There is a WIKI starter guide for UBUNTU .
