I saved my Word document as PDF. When I try to open my Microsoft Word file in the PDF format it seems like it is not converting over. The text is weird and is NOT what my Word file had in it. Can anyone help me?

if u are using MS Office 2007 and above, u can try an add-in program from Microsoft.
Microsoft has an add-in for office 2007, which called: SaveAsPDFandXPS.exe. with this add-in,
u can export and save office file type to the PDF and XPS formats in eight 2007 Microsoft Office programs.
It also allows you to send as e-mail attachment in the PDF and XPS formats in a subset of these programs.
Two methods are available for converting a Word file to pdf:
Method A (only for Office 2007) :
Download and install the Office Addin: 2007 Microsoft Office Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS (http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/4/b/f4bfd843-a0b6-4031-aa98-0a3db7403d0f/SaveAsPDFandXPS.exe ) so that you can save your word files as pdf files directly after finishing.
Method B:
Use the free Office to pdf converter Moyea PPT to PDF Converter
* Strict positioning mode that reproduces the original layout
* Easy to edit mode
* Simple text mode
Converts to many different formats.

Download openoffice from openoffice.org and use the text writer tool on there. It saves .PDF files great. You can just cut and paste from your word document and go from there. I've never had any problems with openoffice .pdf conversion. So if you need it in a pinch, try it out. Plus, openoffice is free, which is nice.
