What kind of software do u need to record clips of dvd, iso, or avi files?

So I can upload the clips to youtube.

I have:

Roxio Easy Media Creator 9
DVD Shrink 3.2
ImTOO AVI to DVD Converter
Windows Media Center

If you want to get the clips uploaded on to youtube, they will most likely have to be or converted to avi files. What were you thinking of uploading? Since you have DVD Shrink(which I love to use), you can edit and back up dvds, so all you would need is a converter to make them avi and ready to upload. If you were thinking of recording tv, you would need a capture card or dazzle. ----- I haven't used Roxio, so I'm not sure if you use that to edit avi(try importing it), but you will need a editing program. I use studio 10 to edit my avi clips
