Did you have it installed previously or is this the first time?? If you are reinstalling it delete the game in add or remove programs and then restart your system. Go to START tab and click on it, Click on Search, Click All Files And Folders, Type in Borderlands and Then Click Search. If there are any left over files delete them individually. Restart again. Insert the game disc and reinstall from scratch. Instead of clicking RUN, click SAVE FILE (if you haven't tried this already), pick the save destination, and then go to the destination and open the file. This way you are saving the file to your hard drive and then installing it from there instead of directly from the disc.A 1722 error usually happens during a reinstall and is usually caused by the previous file not being completely deleted (installing a file over a file so to speak). In any case try totally removing everything that has to do with Borderlands and restart the system, start from scratch. Good Luck
