A good place to chat for MS Excel help?

I am looking to create a grading curve template and ive never used excel where is a good chat or way to communicate and get help doing this. Its very specific in how im gonna want this to setup. I dont believe it would be hard but I dunno what im doing.

I joined a couple of the groups that have been started, but since I work nights and sleep during the day, I was never on to chat during "primetime".And, when I did check in, there was so much chatting or bickering going on that I didn't have time to read all the posts to catch up on what I missed.It would be great to have a seniors site to go to with informative links for tutorials to walk us through some of the basic computer stuff like Ebay does if you have ever been on their site. Then, if there were any additional questions, you could leave a message and in due time, someone would answer.The nearest Staples, Home Depot, etc is over 20 miles from my house, so this is a great idea!

Hey hi there I am having problem in excel as I want to develop quotation system where you type lets say Australia in B9 (then it should match Australia in different sheet ) after that if I type Brisbane in C9 (then its should locate Australia against Brisbane row wise) then also there will be multiple(more than 10) shipping lines vertically but I want that if I write 40 feet then it should locate from the first column 40 feet (there will be 5 columns showing 40 feet 60 feet 80 feet and 100 feet) and wherever it intersect then it should compare that from all shipping line companies from Australia to Brisbane that too in 40 feet container which is cheapest one and then it should pop up somewhere in quote. would you be able help with this? I tried index and match together but match doesn t go further if there are multiple matches so very confused how to do it.

there is a two column in my excel. In the first column there are some numbers in five rows and in the two rows there is a zero & where in the second column same thing but zero is in three row. After putting the filter in my first column I remove zero and selected numbers only and same time I selected number and exclude the zero in second column as well. After removing the zero from both column whatever rows number is coming I have to update it in other sheet. Can any one help me that which formula will give me correct count of rows.

I have a spreadsheet that im going to port into an excel doc. when it transfers i want the numbers that im inputing to automatically change to specific word example: if i input a 3 excel changes to banana if i input 5 excel changes to apple
